Sponsor Profile - Knuffle Kid

If you were ever lucky enough to visit the 'ye olde' My Poppet bricks and mortar store, you will be familiar with lovely Melbourne Made label Knuffle Kid. No? Well you are in for a treat!
Created by Emma Strybosch, who like many of us started making clothes for her own daughters, the label has expanded to a full clothing range for boys and girls.

This Winter's range is called 'Passport Agogo' and recalls the glamour days of travel in the 60s when flying in planes was a luxury and the air hostess was the hight of elegance and fashion.

But you won't have to fly around the world to acquire this lovely collection of beautifully designed garments. They are all made right here in Melbourne, and even the signature fabric print is hand printed locally by the girls at ink & spindle. The fabric design could be the view from a plane or the country side out of a car window.
What I really love about Knuffle Kid is that it's not about style over substance, sure the clothing is super cute but it's also practical too. Pants have adjustable waists, the dresses and capes are reversible, every item not only mix and match the current season, but past seasons as well. Add in great craftsmanship and beautiful fabric and you have pieces that will be passed onto siblings, and cousins, and friends of friends, and after a thousand washes (my non-scientific estimate) will still look as good as the day they were made.
I'm a fan of bold colours on kids, my Emma always looks great in brights, and this seasons primary colour palette is just the ticket to brighten up a chilly winters day.

You can find a list of stockists here or if you are lucky enough to live in Melbourne, you can catch Emma at a market event - details on the website.

I'm very grateful to have Knuffle Kids as a sponsor, and hope you get a chance to check out the "Passport Agogo" collection for yourselves.
